Whether foreign parties can be treated fairly in Chinese litigation

We regularly represent foreign parties in domestic litigation and arbitration in China. Many foreigners/foreign companies have certain doubts about the fairness of the Chinese judiciary. For this question, as a lawyer with more than 20 years of professional experience, I can answer responsibly that there is basically no injustice. China has been reforming and developing for more than 30 years. In the minds of the new generation of judges, there is no mentality to protect Chinese enterprises unprincipled. In court, especially in civil and commercial cases, the main thing to look at is evidence. Even if the judge of the first instance is biased, there is still an appellate court in China, so if the error is serious, the possibility of the second instance being changed is still very high. Therefore, I don't think foreign companies and individuals need to worry about this issue. If your rights are violated, please bravely take up legal weapons and come to China to safeguard your rights.
