Recently, we have represented a client in a house rental case successfully. The client signed a house rental agreement with Mr.Zhang, whereas, Mr.Zhang provides the house to the Client for business purpose. During the performance of the contract, since the plaintiff refused to perform its duty of maintaining the house, the defendant terminated to contract. Then the plaintiff sued to court and requested the defendant to pay for the rents and his liquidated damages.

We estimated and analyzed the case after we were appointed, and made a thorough strategy for defending the client in court and for the counterclaim. By doing that, we successfully won the case for the first trial. The plaintiff were not satisfied, and appealed to the inter-mediate court. However, we won the whole case eventually thanks to the efforts that our colleagues made. The plaintiff’s early termination of the lease contract was recognized as legal and effective, and the court also supported our counterclaim. This is a mile stone of the eventual success of this case.
